Ideal Tennis Academy

Extremely disappointed with our experience. We prepaid for my son’s tennis lessons, and not once, but twice, we showed up at the scheduled time only for the coach to never arrive. There was no communication, no courtesy call or message, and he completely ignored our calls and texts both times. It’s incredibly frustrating to get a child excited for a lesson, make the time to be there, and then be left waiting with no explanation. Being unreliable is one thing, but taking payment in advance and then disappearing without any communication is unacceptable. I cannot recommend this coach based on our experience. If you value professionalism, reliability, and respect for your time, I would look elsewhere.

We have had a wonderful experience at Ideal Tennis with our son Grayson. This year we have signed up the rest of our kids. Coach Miguel is wonderful with helping to develop the kids skills. Highly recommend!

Coach Miguel is one of the kindest and most attentive coaches I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with. My child, who is naturally introverted, has shown significant improvement in tennis thanks to his guidance. With Coach Miguel’s help, she not only honed her skills but also participated in and won a JTT USTA tournament. Even in a group of 10 kids, he pays attention to the smallest details, such as ensuring the kids have the right racket or proper shoes—and he’ll even tie their shoe laces if needed. His coaching techniques are excellent, and his drills are particularly effective in helping kids improve their ability to track the ball. You truly couldn’t ask for a better coach.

My 13 year old son was complete beginner to tennis. His performance improved after a single class with the coach. Coach Miguel Martin is very talented and helped him to focus and correct his posture during playing. There are a lot of kids with multiple age groups at this location. I definitely recommend this place.

We have had our 5 and 7 year old tennis players with Ideal for about a year and they have enjoyed learning fundamental strokes and prepping for ages 4-7 Red Ball USTA tournament competitions . Coach Miguel and staff have a lot of patience and do a great job of keeping the young players motivated to improve with corrective feedback and some fun drills to finish each lesson. Would definitely recommend this program to families interested in a youth tennis program.
